“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”

Naturopathic medicine is defined a system of treatment of disease that avoids drugs and surgery and emphasizes the use of natural agents (such as air, water, and herbs) and physical means (such as tissue manipulation and electrotherapy).
Naturopathic medicine and conventional medicine are both valuable systems that excel at different aspects of patient care. Conventional medicine is crucial in most emergency situations. Naturopathic medicine is the best approach to prevention, because it involves a wellness-oriented diet, lifestyle change and supplements that support the body.
While western medicine focuses on treating symptoms, naturopathic medicine has more to do with prevention and analyzing root causes to eradicate disease from the body.
In this technologically driven fast-paced world, us humans lack the patience and perseverance to address our health issues at the core, we want results as quickly as we want the WiFi password of every establishment we go into.
Plant-based Med’s mission is to assist in the education of naturopathy, homeopathy and other forms of holistic health care while exposing the long term adverse effects associated with the prolonged use of western conventional medicine.
