(1)Gerrymandering: Film
Democrats and Republicans conspire to keep the act of Gerrymandering private so that incumbents can maintain total control over offices and guarantee their position year after year. The ability to directly determine the outcome of elections is done through Gerrymandering. Film Maker Jeff Reichert created a documentary (below) to show how politicians use this tool, of redrawing district lines, in their favor. Specifically following the story of the Executive Director, California Common Cause & National Redistricting Director, Kathay Feng, in her fight for Prop 11 in California. Prop 11 opposed the power of district boundary re-drawings being left to politicians in office.
