1st Goal : Compose as a Process

First off, I would have to say the reason that I was never a good writer was because I never had any passion for what I was writing about. Before I began my writing process, I made sure I had read over the article and assignment numerous times so I could fully understand what the issue was and, ultimately, what I would be writing about. Before writing my draft, I laid out all the ideas i wanted and needed to get across in my essay. When writing the paragraphs, I had to make sure that my paragraphs were fuct and related to the main thesis. One of the most helpful part of the writing process was the self reflection on my own work. The reflection helped me identify the areas for improvement. I identified my writing strengths and weaknesses and moved from there. Along with everything else, the writing process helped me write with more passion and effective.

2nd Goal: Critically analyze texts in a variety of genres

I achieved this goal by using different methods like the explicit implicit method and the toulmin method. These methods helped me analyze texts more in depth. The toulmin method gave me a better understanding of all the elements needed in an argumentative essay.
