I’d like to introduce my new product, a guitar rack “All For You”
Please find the short movie of this product for target early adopters, guitarists and bassists, through the below link.
This product consists of 3 layers, Top, Middle, Bottom.
-Top Part
You can hang five guitars on the hooks that can spin around with the rail. You can put your favorite guitar in the front and move around the other guitars to the front when using them. With this rack, you can save large space if you compare with hanging up each of five guitars on the wall separately. Guitars are displayed with the protection of glass panels and glass door in front in order to avoid dust and maintain appropriate humidity. On TinkerCad the “hole” rectangles were used for the glass panels/door and the roof panel so that you can see the inside.
-Middle Part
You can put a suitcase for the effector board or any other music-related equipment.
There is a drawer that is separated into 36 boxes to organize cables. You can put labels for the cables on the edge, so you can find the right cables you need.
-Bottom Part
You can put the effector unit on the dolly type drawer with your suitcase. Usually, guitarists put an effector board and arrange each effector’s position on it as they like on one side of a special suitcase and take off the other slide, cover, when they use it, as attached below picture shows. This board is very heavy (about 30 lb) and very cumbersome. You can slide it in and out smoothly with this dolly type drawer.
This product comes with a hygrometer that sends an alert when the humidity turns to the out of the range of 40-50%. You can connect this device with Alexa so your humidifier would be turned on automatically, so you can keep the best moisture balance (40-50%) for your guitars.
You can organize all of your music-related equipment very well with this rack.
This product helps you to creates a good and cool environment that inspire you to make good songs!!!
==================================================
In my previous post, I had already talked about my product journey.
There were twists and turns.
Starting with a wall-mounted hanger to display five guitars, the function that to send an alert with lights and noise if users leave the room without hanging up the guitars were added. Then it became just an ordinary shelf…
Through the repeated customer conversations, finally, my product, a guitar rack “All for you” is ready for the pitch!
My target early adopter is guitarists and bassists, who play guitar or bass in a band professionally.

I’m astonished how much time you spent on it. The 3D model is delicate, and the guitar rack is spacious and useful.

Thank you for your kind comment, Jack!!

I really am impressed by the 3D designs! Very cool. I think the video was more of a challenge for you but that is ok – the course is an opportunity to learn about what you like/are good at and what you might need help with from a co-founder/employee.

Thank you, Professor!!
It sounds you don’t like my video! Based on your guideline I considered the target audience, guitarists and bassists for my product. They are the artists who follow their own sense. I wanted to avoid the explanatory video. I wanted to create some conceptual artistic movie, like a music video to appeal their emotions focusing on music and rhythm without using sentences or ordinary scenes like my room. Turned out it’s very difficult …

Aaah I do like your video! I guess what I meant was – your tinkercad skills really shine here though you stayed away from showing electronics in the video. That is the “challenge” I was referring to. I should have been more clear.

I love how your product has turned out Kat! This would be a great use for many “musicians” or “artists” in being organized. Great work with all the delicate work and I love the song selection used in the video! Great work

Thank you so much, Saad!! I’m glad that you love the song. They are my favorite band! It was a lot of work to edit videos switching the movies to the rhythm of the music.

Wow your 3D skills are amazing! I think as a non guitarist I would’ve liked to see more explanations, but after reading your response to the professor I now see that you were catering to your target audience- which makes way more sense! This is why empathy and knowing your audience is so important. I think you are right, a more conceptual and artistic video makes sense and would be more engaging and effective.

Thank you so much, Priscila!!
Since my husband allowed me to use only his pictures, not songs, nor movies, I was able to include his images in the last scene. However, I think I lost some dynamic rhythms by using still images.

I really like the color application of your 3D model. Although there are not many lines in the video, the guitar music still gives people an impulse to buy it.

Wow Kat, your prototype has changed so much! I can tell you’ve worked really hard on all parts of this project. You went from organizing guitars to a comprehensive display case that keeps everything neat, and is a cool idea to preserve and show off prized guitars.
Also, great choice of music for your video 🙂 I liked how you timed the “shaking” of your 3D rendering to the music – a really appealing way to engage your target audience.

Thank you, Cynthia!!
You have encouraged me so much from the beginning of this project. I really appreciate that!!
