My name is Rita Sharon. I attended Leon M. Goldstein High School and now I am studying Actuarial Science at Baruch. After getting my Actuarial degree I plan to continue my studies in mathematics and getting all my actuarial exams completed. This is my second semester with Professor Graves, and I am excited for this upcoming year and to see how my writing progresses from where we had left off. Every summer I spend my two months of traveling. Most summers I visit Georgia and Miami because I have family there, and I also try to visit different countries. I have been to Ukraine to visit my father while he was away for business and have been to Israel to see family. I plan to go to Israel, Russia, Miami, and Georgia this upcoming summer. I am very involved with the American Autism Association and try to do my best to attend events and runs to support the families. The picture attached is a painting of a butterfly surrounded by used bullets. I believe that it represents my life because I am that butterfly surrounded by the negativity and problems of this world but I can continue to fight and stay strong.
