Hoping Comebacks Have Just Begun

No one would have thought that the New York Giants would get their first win of the season almost two months after it began, especially on the back of newly signed Running Back, Peyton Hillis. Hillis has been out of football for a while and just a week ago was an assistant coach for a high school football team. He was signed by the Giants earlier this week and scored a touchdown for them on Monday night against the Vikings to get their first win of the season. Now after getting their first win, and the division still up for grabs, where do the Giants go from here?

One Response to Hoping Comebacks Have Just Begun

It is great for Giant fans that they finally won, but I wouldn’t get very excited just yet. They defeated the Vikings who made the (Awful) decision to start Freeman. He played a really bad game and Peterson only got 13 carries. The Giants did well to stop him, but when you don’t have to worry about the Passing game, it makes blocking the run a lot easier. I don’t think that the division is easily up for grabs since they have a long road ahead of them. Each of the other 3 teams look far better at this point and Eli Manning is still having one of the worst seasons of his career. I think that the Giants can possibly make it to 4-12, but the Playoffs is really beyond consideration. Of course, if they pull an upset victory over the Eagles, then it’s safe to start aiming for the Playoffs again. I’m definitely rooting for them next week since that’ll help the Cowboys.

Dallas Cowboy fan all the way!
