Making this video was probably one of the funnest projects I’ll ever get to do in college. I have never worked with any of the tools that I used in the process of making my digital essay. My main idea of making this video was to show my audience how society was in the 1960’s during the civil rights movement, and by doing that I also tried to add James Baldwins perspective of this time by using different images as well as key quotes from Baldwin that I thought resembled my theme in the video. Even though the video process at the end was fun the overall project was quite difficult, I have to say overall the editing process as well as adding audio and splicing it was not easy. I hope you all really enjoy my video as well as had as much fun as me making your own videos, I cant wait to see everyone else’s video and see what they thought of the whole process.
