High school equivalency exams become more challenging as the standards in these generalized tests have increased. The increased complexity of the test caused students to struggle in studying and educators more anxious in preparing students for the test. Some educators worried that this higher standard wouldn’t benefit all students, while some others felt that the standard wasn’t high enough.
