Uramaki or inside-out roll, is actually a Western ‘s invention as a result since the creation of the California roll. Basically it is the flipped nori with sushi rice on the outside wrap around certain ingredients, oftenly crab stick -kani, avocado, cream cheese, shrimp tempura, etc. The roll is then cover with roasted sesame (enhance flavor and reduce stickyness) or other toppings.
