I’d been to this museum before a few years ago. Despite being sick I really took in a lot of knowledge and was fascinated by what I found. What stood out to me the most was the area where they were showing clips of women in Yiddish film. It was so interesting to see how different they were portrayed than women today in film. They were very funny and my favorite out of all was when the female flapper taught the group of men how to dance, this clip was from “Ost und West.”
