Animal lover Rossana Ceruzzi formed a non-profit organization in 2015 on Roosevelt Island where she takes care of cats that were abandoned, injured, or just needs socialization and love.

Mama Cat and Litter of Kittens Rescued From a Trash-Bound Couch Just in the Nick of Time – Check out this video from USA Today of kittens in Ohio that were saved from being thrown out with their home. The old couch served as a place of warmth for the kittens and where the Mama Cat could safely hide them. 
3. Meet The Adorable Male Cat Called Mr.Mom – Good Morning America reports on a male cat that was mistakenly taken for the Mother of it’s kittens in New Jersey. Mr.Mom was found with the kittens in Philadelphia. As of May 15, 2023, Mr.Mom is available for adoption while the kittens are still under foster care.
