Krokodil, or desomorphine, is a rising drug in Russia and Ukraine. It works like heroin but cost only a tenth of its price, making it much more appealing to drug users. However, the use of the drug causes veins to clump causing tissue damage. By the time these cases are reported, they are usually past the point of recovery.
