Do video games make people more violent? The American Psychological Association reviewed hundreds of studies and papers on the subject published between 2005 and 2013. They concluded that:

while there was “no single risk factor” to blame for aggression, violent video games did contribute.

Although the study ranged over such nearly a decade, many academics still feel the methodology of conducting the research was flawed. The reasoning behind this was stated because much of the material used in the study had not been peer reviewed with another group.
