1. Although Susan Sontag does a wonderful job at showing us the pyschology of the war photographs, the style of writing is something debateable. The text is infused with so many ideas without the photograph, it sounds like a masterpiece research project. However, with so many details it is easy to get confused and lost about the message.
2. Her writing style grabs the reader about a particular topic. Then it quickly lets go so another topic may grab their attention, sometimes in the same page. However, she does have flow. Her ideas, relate to each other and paint a bigger picture about how war photos are seen.
3. Her ideas are good, but this topic or style was harder to understand than I thought. If this was stretched a bit more, perhaps it would’ve been easier to understand.
