Small Parks, With a Bit of Peace in Every Nook

Even though New York City is known for “time is money” way of life, there are many parks that provide a place for relaxation and leisure. There’s a hidden park called Greenacre Park on East 51st between 2nd and 3rd ave, where the park creates an illusion of a mirage. It has 3 levels of seats, and nice plants on the floor and trees. Paley Park, located near Rockefeller Center and Fifth Ave, includes densely packed trees and a beautiful waterfall. Avenue of Americas is similar to Paley Park. World Wide Plaza has nice restaurants bordering around it with beautiful lights and Japanese trees around. Sutton Place Park attracts playful kids because of its nicely kept sandbox. Last but not least, it’s Tudoe City Greens, hidden near United Nations, has a pebbled path, contrasting colors of plants and 80s style buildings around the area.
