Baruch Blood Drive

A blood drive was held last week here at Baruch. Baruch saw many students volunteer to have their blood taken or transfusions and other medical related reasons. I was not able to contribute but many students were able to help out. People in need of transfusions often have unique blood types, like O, which are not commonly found in large quantities in hospitals. Blood drives allow these hospitals to add to their supply of blood types in the event that someone may need to use it. It’s great that Baruch is offering this service to students and giving them a vehicle to contribute to their community.blooddrive
