Together we are World Class!

World Class, a venture keeping you plugged to the highs and lows of the K-12 public education system in the United States, while providing you with a forum and the opportunities for you to make a difference.

Meaningful change is incremental, and it can start with you and me.

ABOUT US:

When I was a child, the first thing I wanted to be when I grew up was a teacher. As early as six years old, I had makeshift classrooms set up in my room with dolls and stuffed animals, blackboards and chalkdust, made up lesson plans and test materials, the whole nine yards. But it saddens me today to see the state of the public education industry, specifically in the United States, seeing as that is where I live now, and how educators are often underpaid, overworked, and often dip into their personal funds to supplement and facilitate learning in the classroom.

World Class is a blog featuring a range of different materials including research and write ups relating to the public education in the United States. It will highlight ongoing education funding ventures such as DonorsChoose.org, Adopt A Classroom, Amazon classroom wishlists, and book giveaways geared to teachers, educators, and librarians and a one-stop e-platform where teachers, students, and potential donors/sponsors can visit for information and resources surrounding how they can help funding classrooms/school projects in need, especially schools & classrooms in low-income areas.
