My topic is the analysis of the fundamentals of the Men’s NCAA league. A multibillion dollar organization containing vast demographic of fans, where there players are not payed. My question is: Should NCAA players be payed more than a mere scholarship? Both sides have a clear argument as this topic is extremely 2 sided and is hard to pick a side. This topic also tends to my interest in sports and money, allowing me to study a corporation that has many different revenue streams.

The topic sounds interesting – no straight answer and debatable. Maybe start off with the 2 sides then go with what you prefer
Personally, I am not sure I would be able to write too much on this since I am not too familiar with the NCAA but if you know it well it shouldn’t be a problem. You could definitely pick a side, or both or even neither. Sports and money have only grown corrupt over the years so looking forward to reading this.
This is quite the topic. I agree with you, it is very two-sided, I don’t even know where I stand on this issue. One thing for sure is that you’ll definitely have enough sources and info to meet the page requirement.
While discussing if NCAA players should be paid more than a scholarship, you should look at this question from the perspective of both the student and the school itself. Tuition is expensive for all students, but does this truly compensate for the hours and effort that NCAA players put in? I also suggest researching how NCAA players were denied the ability to make sponsorship and endorsement deals. In April, there were major changes towards this policy.
Hi Aaron, like I mentioned to you in class, I think this has potential to be a fascinating paper if you take a step back and look a little bit at broader inequalities in sports. How are young men, typically men of color (and women too but not sure if that’s part of this paper’s scope) being manipulated to pad the pockets of the billionaires at the top? Is there enough awareness about this?
