Quotation Analysis

For the quotation assignment, I had to think of a quote that spoke to me on a personal level, and I felt the perfect one would be “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”, stated by Wayne Gretzky. I then had to figure out what to sketch as a representation of this quote, so I decided to focus my sketches on sports, such as basketball, hockey, and dart-throwing. I ended up using one of my sketches for my project by scanning it into the computer, and working around it from there. I used the Baskerville typeface to write out my quote, and I learned how creative you can be with representation of something, such as a quote.
