for me, this article highlighted the fact that everything and i mean everything in our lives required some sort of design. From a label on a jar of pickles to SpaceX’s new Dragon space craft and everything in between was thought out and developed by someone. There are good designs and bad designs. the good ones have all the right elements/ interesting visual that evokes particular emotion, the right typeface that helps support the particular message the designer is communicating. the use of music could also enhance designers message. bad ones usually fail to communicate what the designers initially tried to relay.

when working on a campaign or a project, does the graphic designer have any of the say so in decision making or does she just execute someone else’s idea? im guessing it depends on the project and the experience of the designer.
