Advising Alliance Fall 2022 schedule

Hi Advising Alliance,

In a blink of an eye, the new academic year began, the weather is finally getting cooler, and Pumpkin Spice is back at Starbucks…

Below is our Fall 2022 meeting schedule. Please note, all meetings will take place via Zoom to accommodate that staff may be working remotely on Tuesdays. We will be sending Zoom meeting details the week prior to each meeting.

SAVE THE DATES:

Tuesday, September 20, 11am-12pm

  • Topic: Introduction of the Baruch One Stop Shop (BOSS)
  • Presenter: Natalie Velasquez Pinela; (Enrollment Management and Strategic Academic Initiatives)

Tuesday, October 18, 11am-12pm

  • Topic: Opportunities and updates from the Weissman and Marxe Schools
  • Presenter: Cheryl Smith, Interim Associate Dean (Weissman School of Arts and Sciences); Hilary Botein, Associate Dean and Judith Kafka, Faculty Director of BSPA (Marxe School of Public and International Affairs)

First Meeting of Fall 2019

  • Our Website is growing! Please check it out (and notice we’ve added the site to our banner below. Spread the word!).
  • Speaking of the Website, please join your co-chairs in welcoming two members who have graciously agreed to head our new Website Communications Committee—Marny Smith from MSPIA and Sandra Kupprat from Starr! They will be assisting us in the upkeep and general maintenance of the site.
  • And now that we’re evolving, you’ll notice this email is coming from a newly created email: [email protected]. Please use this email to communicate with us and to request announcements to go out on the list, which you’ll notice is an official “members listserv” now.
