Baruch College Advising Alliance

New Year – New Co-Chair!

Hi colleagues,

As mentioned in our last meeting, after 4 1/2 years, I have decided to step down as co-chair of the Advising Alliance. While it has been a pleasure co-leading our amazing alliance, I think it’s time for me to focus on some other aspects of my personal and professional life (FYI..I still plan on being involved with the Advising Alliance just not in a leadership role). That said, I’d like to introduce your new co-chair, Ken Eng.

Ken Eng is the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Programs at the Zicklin School of Business where he manages the day-to-day operations of the Zicklin Undergraduate Programs Office.

While a New York native, he left for 15+ years for warmer weather and worked at the University of Southern California [pre-scandal] in multiple advising, registrar, and student affairs roles, and was actively involved in the USC Council of Academic Advisors (a group similar to the Advising Alliance).

He returned to New York to be closer to family and joined Baruch in 2018… though he questions why he left sunny California every winter. When he’s not working, he is often found babysitting his two rugrat niece and nephew, trying to find new places to eat in search of great food, or singing along to some song on the radio.

Please join Peter, Emilee, and I in welcoming Ken!

Best,
Clemente
