Week 7

This week in my internship, I worked on updating CVISION’s website with new information and assigning leads to sales people. I also started drafting two data sheets for the two products we are releasing at the end of the year. They are not completely new, they are products that were released before but now features new functions. I put the preliminary layout together using the texts from previous data sheets. We are still in the process of tweaking the texts but the layout is finished. I will probably continue working on this when the release of the products approaches. One of them is planned to be released this November. Aside from the data sheets, I also worked on creating a new call to action button to replace the old one. I created several variations of it with designs reflecting the new branding style.

For my independent study and website, I worked on creating a more fun logo. I took the suggestion from the last meeting of incorporating a character with the logo. I wasn’t able to draft the character yet because I mostly focused on redesigning my website. I changed the layout of the navigation bar, the about me page, and the index. By the end of this week, I have finished making the about me page. I will be working on finalizing my logo, finishing the contact page and starting the portfolio page for the next week.
