Week 9 update

Week 9 update

Branding portion of my independent study is at a momentary halt. Applying all efforts to the website. Biggest challenge is the temple limitations.  Some of which could be solved by upgrading to a premium membership,  however,  that would result in an additional cost to the business owner. So yeah, trying to work around it.  My action plan is to follow the professor’s advice and research other websites that have used the same template and see how they’ve managed to customize the templates.  Another task at hand is figuring out the best number of images per category.  Maybe by having just the right amount of pictures I can eliminate the clutter seen in the original website. Another takeaway is the overwhelming white space in the new design. I’ve started to incorporate touches of color in the about us page. Overall the biggest challenge is creating an efficient and welcoming photo gallery.  I feel that if it’s possible to put an end to the whole photo gallery debacle, half the war is won.
