Book Update

So I finally went to the children’s book store on 18th street called Book of Wonder. It was a really awesome place to get inspiration for my book! The only downside of my trip is that I had to drag the little boy I take care of along with me. Lets just say he wasn’t in the mood to check out any books with me so he continuously tugged at my jacket and asked if we could dance our way out of the bookstore.

Anyway…

I was able to check out a few books and got some new ideas as far as how I want the layout of my book to look like. I think I am going to replicate some of the different illustration elements that I saw from various books such as in the story called Henny by Elizabeth Rose.

I am still not 100% done with my illustrations but I have been working with placing them inside of the spreads.
