The Impact of Women Empowerment at Baruch

The Women in Business (WIB)  organization at Baruch is geared towards the development and empowerment of undergraduate women. Established in 2005, it has helped to create an avenue for not only personal, but professional development for women as future business professionals. Baruch has recognized WIB as the Most Outstanding Organization for two years in a row (2009-2011). This group has provided many opportunities for female students to acquire fundamental business and professional skills, through the use of informational e-blasts and events such as workshops. The undergraduate women at Baruch can easily be ‘ahead of the game’ which is essential in such a competitive corporate world.
