Australians Have It Tough On Tobacco

On December 1st of last year, Australia had a new law passed that enabled health regulators to post extremely explicit and realistic images of organs and body parts that have been severely exposed to long-time smoking habits. This in-turn led to a psychological effect that no one expected; people were complaining that the taste of the tobacco had become tainted and wasn’t the same. Tobacco company owners tried to prove that there was no tampering with the products being sold to the public and that the images on the products have actually given a temporary effect of difference in taste. Australia is the harshest place for tobacco where a pack of cigarettes can run $14.70.  Tobacco companies however are still being accused of influencing the taste of cigarettes by trying to increase profits and importing cheaper versions of it. This is a battle that Australia takes on harder then any place on Earth trying to regulate and prevent smoking entirely in any way it can.
