Careers

As a program of teaching and learning, we highly value the development and advancement of every member of our team, and our Communication Fellows have an excellent track record of career growth. Each year, three or four of our Fellows are hired into Assistant Professorships or other full-time work within and outside the academy.

Consequently, we typically initiate a hiring cycle for new Communication Fellows once a year. While we do not currently have openings, we’re always happy to hear from colleagues interested in joining the Institute.

What is a Communication Fellowship?

To learn more about what our Communication Fellows do and some of the benefits of joining our team, we encourage you to watch this video, made by current and recent members of our team of Fellows.

What is a WAC Fellowship at the Institute?

Each year, as part of the CUNY-wide Writing Across the Curriculum Fellowship program, we welcome several WAC Fellows from The Graduate Center, CUNY to our team. To learn more about what our WAC Fellows do and some of the benefits of doing a WAC Fellowship at the Institute, we encourage prospective WAC Fellow to watch this video, made by recent WAC Fellows themselves.
