Symposium

Our Symposium on Communication-intensive Teaching and Learning is an annual day-long event open to the entire College teaching community. Each year, the Symposium’s theme provides an opportunity to engage new ways of approaching teaching and learning across the disciplines.

Learn more about past Symposia:

  • 2015: Design Thinking with keynote speaker Ellen Lupton, Senior Curator, Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum
  • 2016: Storytelling with keynote speaker Jake Silverstein, Editor in Chief, The New York Times Magazine
  • 2017: Active Listening with panelists Sayantani DasGupta (Columbia University), Nyle Fort (Movement for Black Lives), and Maria Elena Torre (The Public Science Project, The Graduate Center, CUNY)
