Inclusive and Antiracist Pedagogy at Baruch

We strive to ensure that faculty have the support, tools, and community necessary to meaningfully uphold values of antiracism, equity, and inclusion in their teaching.

Since 2017, the Institute has run a Seminar on Inclusive Pedagogy. This seminar’s focus is broad, considering many axes of inclusion. We continue to facilitate this Seminar regularly.

Currently, with generous support from a Mellon-funded BRESI Grant, we are developing new programming with a more directly antiracist focus. It aims to support faculty specifically in antiracist approaches to facilitating challenging classroom conversation about race, identity, and inequality.

Please follow the links below to learn more about these programs, and please don’t hesitate to be in touch.
