If you love zines and art and Williamsburg, you definitely need to check out Quimby’s Bookstore in Brooklyn where Steven Symbersky, the owner, sells zines which carrying them “requires direct contact between the owner and hundreds of artists.”

For raising revenue for the city, the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection has gone after 23 small businesses for not accepting legal tender and fined some of them. Rizzoli Bookstore was also fined $500.

Yu and Me Books, the first Asian-American female owned bookstore-cafe-bar, will be open in Manhattan next month.
