Step 1: Hmm~Let’s See What We Already Have In This World So Far!

In this step, I’ve done extensive and deep research about current 3D Printing Ad campaigns. Please see the following links for examples, and my descriptions for more detail:

Categories 1: Existing 3D Ad Campaign

Coca-cola

Campaign 1: Mini Me Campaign:

Coca-Cola wanted to introduce its new Mini Bottles in Israel and worked with Gefem Tel-Aviv on this fun 3D printing idea. The brand invited consumers to create tiny, digital versions of themselves in a mobile app. Then, Coca-Cola selected some of them and invited them to the Coca-Cola factory, where they could turn their mini-me’s into the real thing, via scanning them and then printing their scans in 3D printers.

Process about how they do this campaign:

Campaign 2: 2010 WORLD CUP Campaign

Two lenticular lighted panels were installed in subway stations to mimic “The Wave”, the celebration of Brazilian fans. Those walking past the panel would see the Gigantic Wave forming right before their eyes as they passing by the 16-meter long panel.

3D Printing Dental Growth – Dental Use With 3D Printers

Presently, 3D printing is being used in dental laboratories around the world. Orthodontic labs are using it to make models and aligners, and restorative labs are using it to make patterns for fixed prosthodontics, surgical guides, and complete removable dentures.
