Online Exercise 3: Goals and outcomes

What do you need to do?

  • Identify a list of goals (anywhere from 3 to 6 goals) that organizations specify as basis for pursuing sustainable IT initiatives.
  • Identify at least two frameworks using which organizations can evaluate such initiatives.
  • Provide brief explanations of the goals and frameworks.
  • This should be input into the Google Doc that I have created and shared with everyone in class for this purpose.
  • In this Google Doc, your team’s input should be done in one row. In that row, add the list of goals, list of outcomes, and the list of team member names in the corresponding columns. Next to each goal and outcome, provide a brief description of it. Here is a template:

General Guidelines

  • Since the Google Doc that I have shared has edit privileges for all of you, please be careful with what you edit. Do not remove anything that other teams have input.
  • Goals and outcomes identified by your team cannot overlap with what has already been identified. That is, if a team that completes their work before yours has already identified some goals and outcomes, you cannot repeat those. You will have to find new, unique ones. This means that teams that wait till later to complete the work will have a harder time completing their work.
