On Monday i suggested a site that was a source of amusement for your average pre-teen boy looking for some crazy stuff on the internet. To my surprise as much as yours it was turned into a full blown porno site. While some though it was a mistake it could have easily been interpreted that I was a sick freak trying to fool the professor into showing my classmates porno. So I present to you proof that steakandcheese.com as nothing more than a average site that borderline psychotic people posted on just for fun.

This is the classic steak and cheese using http://archive.org/web/web.php or the wayback machine I was able to look at the history of the site. There wasn’t full blown porno on there but some sick stuff none the less and a disclaimer on the homepage that would have made sure you didn’t even see crazy stuff right of the bat. In the most simple terms it was as close to a blog as you can get people posted content of things they though were crazy, insane, and straight up disgusting, there were even links to porno. All in all its not there anymore I don’t know at what point it turned into that but atleast I remember what it used to be and was able to give you a glimpse of my memories. I rest my case.

With our approach we are going to do something visually entertaining for the entire class I don’t want to spoil it unless my group members do so you won’t hear it from me. We will be focusing on what video games do to peoples personal social lives and how they have changed what it means to be a online community. We don’t really have any issues everyone knows their part and is interested in our demonstration. Everyone’s going to love it.

For the group presentation, our team for intellectual property decided to involve not only teaching, but entertaining. A rough draft of our presentation plans is to first start off with a skit talking about intellectual property in current events, mainly the Apple vs Samsung lawsuit involving infringement on patents. The skit will hopefully grab the attention of the audience, entertain them, and spark their curiosity. The skit would be our segue into the our main topics. We would go over the material we researched ourselves, and from that move on to connections from what we learned in class to our presentation. We would finally end our presentation in a eloquent way referring back to the skit from the beginning of our presentation.

I feel that planning wise, our group is well prepared and has done a great job. The problems I feel would be to build on the scaffolding we made for our presentation. I think material wise we have a lot to work with to the point that we may have much we have to leave out to keep it within our time limits. I also think that finding the line between being informative and entertaining will be challenging. I want to find the balance that teaches the most while simultaneously captivating the audiences attention and forcing the inquisitive nature of our peers.

I have good feelings about this presentations and can’t wait to get deeper into this. Looking ahead I feel that I am adequately informed and hope not to see any unforeseen hindrances.

Sometimes, it becomes very hard to select just one out of so many. I don’t want to give away everything but I am trying my best to keep it focused and interactive. Our plan is to provide information on famous networks and then relate it to either Shirky or McLuhan. So will also going to discuss how it helps to network.

Me and my group are meeting on Sundays to complete this assignment. Time is also an issue, we are also planning to meet between class breaks as well.

Our team is very excited about the presentation. We have a very energetic team in Jorge, Harveen and Nokhaiz whose ideas are very lively and hopefully the audience will feel the same. We are trying to be very different from the traditional presentation perception. In doing so, our team came up with some wonderful ideas in executing the presentation. All I can say at this time is that we are rich on topics and research materials and that we need to focus more on the segregation of who is going to cover which sub topic. We already have our rehearsal scheduled and I feel confident that we are on the right track so far.

Well, the topic that was chosen by my group was “Internet Culture”. This has been a new topic for some members of my group including myself. I’ve been doing some research about what Internet Culture really means and how it’s associated with many Internet users. I’ve found that Internet Culture is a new trend on the web which many people feel identified with these single units (represented as ideas) which become very popular in hours and sometimes even minutes.

I think this is a really interesting topic to talk about, but at the same time it’s also challenging because there are thousands of new behaviors on the web that we could talk about in our presentation. I think that in order to provide good feedback about this exiting topic to my classmate the day of the presentation, my group is developing an innovating way to approach to our audience and engage them in our presentation (which I think we’re on the right track to do so).

I cannot say more that this for now, otherwise, I will ruin the presentation that we are planning for you guys. I’m looking forward to present our ideas and knowledge about Internet Culture based on the readings that we’ve been having in class and also in the research that my group and I have been doing for the last week.

Step 1: Take 1/2 of a banana, 4 oz of sliced papaya ( make sure clean the seeds off the papaya or you can add for easier digestion), and 4 oz of raw spinach and dump these ingredients in a big blender. (Can include ice to make a heavier liquid)

Step 2: Measure 8 oz of almond milk and pour in blender along with the fruit.

Step 3: Pour the blended fruit in a portable bottle and add 1 scoop of Vanilla flavored Whey protein powder (Typical scoop contains 25-30 grams of protein) to the shake.

Step 4: Shake the bottle for 30 seconds to a minute and drink up

After carefully researching my best friend research paper, I found that active ingredient of aspirin is salicylic acid which is obtained from the bark of willow tree. In ancient times, Greeks used to make powder of the bark of willow tree and apply it to pain and aches. If you lost in woods and suffering from some kind of pain or fever, then you can make aspirin easily. Rip the bark of a willow tree and set a fire. Start boiling water then place willow bark in that water.

5. Place on a lightly floured surface and pat into a 7- to 8-inch circle about 3/4-inch thick. Sprinkle with remaining 1 tsp. of sugar. Use a sharp knife to cut into 8 triangles; place on a cookie sheet (preferably lined with parchment paper), about 1 inch apart. Bake until golden, about 15 to 17 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes and serve warm or at room temperature.
