Depression is a mental illness that is common worldwide, affecting more than 300 million people of all ages according to the World Health Organization. It important that such mental illnesses are treated and it can often be hard for individuals to successfully overcome their traumas. Unlike physical injuries which can be easily seen and healed, mental injuries are harder to identify and recover from. Victums of depression may feel as if they are hopeless and can never overcome this illness.
