Growing up in a hispanic household, this song was very common and always livens up the mood. It never fails to bring a party to their feet and everyone starts to dance.
Although I’ve heard of her, I never actually listened to a song by Selena. I really enjoyed her voice and found this to be a great, upbeat song! Hispanic culture is really wonderful.
Great song! On long car trips I like to find a Spanish music radio station bc 1) I like the music and 2) seeing what I can understand and not understand is a fun way to distract myself on a long car ride. I took a bunch of years of Spanish–I don’t do great with it, but some of it has stuck. I wish I was a better student all those years ago!
