- In addition to the major projects above, you’ll also have “lower-stakes” writing assignments that ask you to respond to course readings and that will scaffold into (and maybe even become part of) your major projects.

Community Participation
- Presence in class, timeliness, participation, completion of small in-class assignments, engagement in peer editing and feedback.
- Attendance and timeliness will be graded based on completion of opening writing prompts in writing journal.
- Your pod participation is vital to your development and maintenance of our community!

There are a total of 600 points available throughout the course or the semester!
