Persuasion and Manipulation

Persuasion and manipulation come very close that it is almost hard to differ when the line is being crossed. Yet, in the example provided by lonelygirl15, it is almost clear to identify when it becomes a little too obvious that there is a constant need to keep the audience/spectator attached to the material produced. It is no longer a story in which the viewer feels connected/identified with. There is a disconnection of bond and the viewer doesn’t feel it the same way. From my perspective of it, it all felt unreal since the beginning, I believe there was a need for wanting to be heard(believed). I guess this depends on how far along the person viewing the artifact is able to believe. How far is the person willing to let the persuasion go.
