Hello, class. Nice work on your annotated bibliographies — those of you who did one. The vast majority of you did not, or, at least, did not post your work by 9:30 this morning. Please keep in mind that 9:30 a.m. deadline — even though Monday’s “session” takes place online, its deadlines are real. Remember: A hybrid course, even though it meets face-to-face less often than a nonhybrid course, doesn’t mean less work. In some ways, in fact, it’s more work: You have to do a lot of self-teaching and a lot of organizational tasks in order to succeed. If you’re having trouble keeping up with the work or adjusting to the expectations of a hybrid, please come talk to me. I don’t want anyone doing poorly in this course just for lack of keeping up with the work.

All right, lecture over. Now for the substance of this message: Your Project 1 draft is due on Wednesday! Please POST YOUR DRAFT before class on Wednesday morning and BRING A HARD-COPY to class. Your work will be considered incomplete if you haven’t done both of those things.
