“Staying safe and remaining indoors”
I took this picture as I was about to go to bed and the picture shows no one outside. In the street I live in, I feel like the community has been doing good in staying quarantine and social distancing. When I look outside the window, there’s barely people outside. I choose it because I recently saw a lot of people disobeying the orders of social distancing, and I just want to show positivity of people actually following the rules. The mood of the picture is calm but also can be gloomy because there’s no one outside. In this picture we can’t see the essential workers going out to provide us with things. We also can’t see how other people in different neighborhoods disobey the order of remaining indoors. This image conveys about my experience because it shows how I did remain indoors for the past weeks. I do not go outside, unless I go grocery shopping. The image represents that if we work together as a community we can overcome the virus. I recently saw a picture in the media of a lot of white people in the park, and we should not be encouraged to follow their actions.
