The transition to college was very hard for me. I came from a small private school so I know it would hard to adapt to all the people around be, and I wanted to make that transition as seamless as possible because I wanted to focus on my grade so they could be as high as possible. Since this is my first semester of college it was very hard for me to keep my grades up. I had to read pages upon pages of books almost every night and had to write numerous essays. Finally as the semester is coming to a conclusion, although I don’t have the grades I was originally hoping for, I am happy with the position I am in. I was able to focus on my schoolwork and at the same time make sure my transition to college was successful. This semester has been a little rough for me, I was not expecting the workload I was given, but it was a semester of experience and because now I have a good understanding of how college is, I know that I can do even better in the semesters to come and hopefully I will even get the grades I was looking for before the semester started.
