First Semester Freshman

This totally encompasses my experiences at Baruch College thus far. Since high school, i was focused on taking physics at college my freshman year. However, Baruch seems dedicated to making that impossible for me. Since I am not a business major, Baruch doesn’t really offer many classes for me. But I am just making the best of what I have. I am getting rid of my general education credits during my freshman year here so that I can transfer with all of the credits necessary to start taking courses that actually interest me as soon as possible. Although I haven’t been able to take physics and I will not be taking physics next semester, I have somehow found a way to incorporate physics into some of my classes such as COM 1010 with my speech about string theory. I probably annoy all of my friends at Baruch with my constant complaining about not being able to take physics or other courses that are “for me,” but hey, if you can’t complain to your friends, then who can you complain to? Overall, I learned that Baruch is definitely an amazing school. But it isn’t the school for me.

Hopefully you’re able to plan your courses over the next few semesters so they meet your needs a bit better. Good for you for incorporating something you’re interested in (string theory) into another course!
