BLOG POST #3 !
First semester at Baruch went by so quickly. The whole transition from high school to college was so scary to think about at first. I always expected college to be such a different environment compared to high school and a whole lot of work, which it definitely is. In college, you’re fully responsible for everything and you’re pretty much on your own. Although the workload at first was pretty stressful, I think overtime I was able to manage my time and get things done much more efficiently. Besides all the work, I thought first semester was actually a lot of fun and it’s sad to see it ending so fast. I think compared to the first few weeks at college, I’ve learned so much more now. I already feel so much more independent and grown in the course of only three months! I learned that motivation to do well is extremely important because without ambition you can’t expect to succeed. I just hope to keep growing in these next semesters and figure out what career path I’d like to follow.
