“I love College!!!” when classes haven’t even started. I regretted saying this after my first week of college. I thought i would make a lots of good friends but I did not join any club or meet a lot of new people. College is so much harder compared to high school. I got to study hard to get a good grade and sleep deprived. Well, not all the classes are hard but there are a lots of reading and reading is not one of my favorite things to do. Overall, my first semester in Baruch is great because i met some good friends and we studied for our midterm together.

For the enrichment workshop, we went to a gallery on 10/10. Although it was kind of boring, i think it’s quite meaningful. The gallery divided into three sections; history, sociology, and art. The most impressive photo was the girl with a burn mark on her chest and I think that photo showed a child soldier in Sierra Leone. It was really frustrated to see a child got torture. I also saw a photo that was taken during a wartime. The women were helpless and it was messy everywhere. Moreover, the images on the sociology section shows discrimination in American history. It was good to see the aspects of the society and art.
