The first word that comes to my mind to describe my experience at Baruch is exhaustion.

Only reason for this exhaustion is because of the commute. It takes me about an hour and

twenty minutes to get to Baruch from my house which forces me to wake up much earlier

than the actual class time. Going back home at rush hour is just as annoying. The difficulty

level of the works has increased but I like the freedom of being a college student. The

professors do not really care for you or intervene with you which puts more responsibility

on you.  Every step you take and every choice you make are all put up against you. If

something goes wrong, you can’t blame it on anyone else but yourself. I slowly got used to

the school. I think I might start enjoying it.

  1. I’m sorry the commute has been so crazy, but I’m glad to hear your are acclimating to college life. At some point, I hope you are able to adjust your schedule in a way that eases your commute and allows you to maximize your time on campus.

    Wishing you all the best,
    Desiree
