Baruch first semester

Coming into Baruch I thought I was going to breeze through my classes as if this were still high school.  This was not the case.  Immediately I found that college was very different.  Firstly, I had to study, and the teachers were not nearly as forgiving on the tests.  My political science class for example is purely a midterm and final as your grade.  There is no homework or additional tests.  This meant that the whole of our grade I based on us doing well on both tests, initially this was hard as the teacher was quite boring at the start of the semester.  My art class, as many others may say, was to an extent difficult.  The memorization I think was the biggest thing to me.  She expects students to know many things about many art items.  This was the horrible in the beginning of the year, but later I got used to it and could deal with her tests.  So I guess my whole experience so far I’d give 3.5 star out of 5.   It was difficult to start because I didn’t really come in with the “college mentality” but I got used to it towards the end.. or I think I did. Either way i’ll find out when I get my grades.     Happy Finals Week 😀
