I chose this picture of the accomplished scholar and philosopher A$AP Ferg because his mantra is one that applies to all aspects of life. And that mantra is to “Put in work”. In order to make progress, you must put in work towards achieving your goals. I thought that this joke would kill, but I’ve lost faith. This was my attempt at being funny and I’m sorry that it wasn’t. In all seriousness, my first semester at Baruch has been pretty good. I’ve met some pretty awesome people through the LC. The cliques are kind of disappearing and everyone interacts with everyone else, which is cool. For the most part I enjoy all of my classes, especially Psych, which surprises even me. I’m doing okay in my class, but, as I mentioned before, I’m still struggling with motivation and time management. I’m used to just doing okay in school and the motivation to want to do better hasn’t really kicked in yet. However, with only a few weeks left in the semester, I intend to push myself to do the best that I can. In other words, I plan to “put in work”. Full circle. Shabba.

Enrichment Workshop – Justin Felton
In all honestly, I didn’t really think that much of the gallery. I wouldn’t say it was a waste of time, but it just felt boring and didn’t catch my attention. The gallery consisted solely of old photographs that I probably could’ve found on my own in a textbook or something. The woman guiding the “tour” didn’t really seem that engaged in the photographs either. My memory of the photographs themselves is very limited, but there was nothing that stuck out or resonated with me. I don’t know. Maybe I just don’t appreciate art.
Missed Midterm – Justin Felton
Dear Professor Trapani,
I apologize for my absence on the day of the midterm. Due to a recent death in the family, I was unable to attend. If it is possible to make up the exam under these terms, it would be greatly appreciated. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank you,
Justin Felton
this is a playlist

This playlist doesn’t really say much about my personality. I did start to make a playlist with songs that I felt described me in some way but I only got two songs in before I went back to square one. If this playlist says anything, it’s that I’m a music nerd. Like seriously. Every day I find some new song or artist to love, obsess over and blast through the big headphones that I’m wearing as I write this. This playlist consists of both songs that I “discovered” this week and songs that I’ve loved for a while. Enjoy. And yes. I actually like We Can’t Stop. Sue me.
