Homework Trouble- Elizabeth Elkind

Professor Trapani,

I am emailing to in regards to the limits problem on our homework assignment. I was just wondering, are we allowed to use calculator for it, or would you like us to do it by hand? Additionally, will you be giving out partial credit? Thank you very much for your time and have a nice day.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Elkind

Dear Professor Trapani,

I apologize for my absence on the day of the midterm. Due to a recent death in the family, I was unable to attend. If it is possible to make up the exam under these terms, it would be greatly appreciated. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you,

Homework Confusion, Carlos Schmidt

Professor Trapani,

I am currently working on the homework assignment and the answers I come up with just do not make sense. I have referred to my notes and the textbook but the exercise is still unclear to me despite my efforts. I was wondering when would be a good time to stop by your office for you to look over my work and explain where I am going wrong, thank you for your time.

Dear Ms. Trapani,

I am emailing you to ask for assistance in a math problem that is due on Tuesday. I am having difficulty with problem number 7 and can’t seem to find the solution. I have checked all my resources (textbook and internet) and can’t find a lead to help me in solving this problem. Can you please respond back or tell me when I can come see you for help? Our group selected this topic and these specific articles because we felt they were relatable to us as college students, as well as students who have graduated high school and have been through the stages of test taking and various learning strategies.  Although the effects of the changes in common core education and in College Board will not impact us since we are no longer high school students, we will still witness it especially since many of us have younger siblings. This can also prove to us that education is constantly changing, and it is very possible that things at Baruch, and many other colleges/universities may change in the future. It is important for us to familiarize ourselves with the facts about how the government is making changes, as well as recognize how quickly educational facilities are changing their methods of teaching.

Homework Problem-Nadiya Singh

Hi Ms. Trapani,

I am currently working on the homework assignment that is due on Wedesday. I have answered most of the questions, but even after attempting some of them multiple times, I cannot find the correct answer. Can you please help me or if possible can I come to meet with you tomorrow during your office hours? Thank you!

Dear Professor Trapani,

I am terribly sorry about missing the midterm. Throughout the last few days I have been experiencing flu like symptoms and was told by the doctor to stay home. I was looking forward to taking the midterm as I have studied thoroughly and felt ready. I am willing to reschedule as soon as I am able to come to back to class. I hope you understand my frustrations and I hope we can resolve this quickly.

Sincerely,

Anthony McCann
