Our group selected this topic and these specific articles because we felt they were relatable to us as college students, as well as students who have graduated high school and have been through the stages of test taking and various learning strategies.  Although the effects of the changes in common core education and in College Board will not impact us since we are no longer high school students, we will still witness it especially since many of us have younger siblings. This can also prove to us that education is constantly changing, and it is very possible that things at Baruch, and many other colleges/universities may change in the future. It is important for us to familiarize ourselves with the facts about how the government is making changes, as well as recognize how quickly educational facilities are changing their methods of teaching.
