Basically. Everyone complains about how much homework they have and I’m just sitting here with free time. College hasn’t set in for me yet because it still feels like high school, and I have all the same kids in every class thanks to this learning community. I’ve made new friends and it’s been really fun and everyone has been really nice. The classes have been rather easy except I have trouble putting in effort anywhere for some reason, but the FRO class has been a great bonding experience and I hope to see everyone from this LC throughout my years at Baruch.

Mishkin Art Gallery
In all honesty I thought the trip to the art gallery wasn’t the best experience. I’m a tad bit ignorant when it comes to art and when the tour guide is so long winded and can’t decipher that his audience doesn’t care much for the work it doesn’t make the experience any better either. I thought the paintings were interesting but I’m unaware of the true impact that the woman even had on society. Why was she so sought out for? Why is she not a household name? Maybe because she wasn’t even that good. Maybe because there are more painters who are more talented and didn’t produce so many works because they actually took more time to paint instead of painting things that weren’t meaningless. I didn’t enjoy the trip and my feet hurt a lot. Sorry for being ignorant in advance but this generation isn’t geared towards appreciating old art work.
Reflection on NY Times project
In my opinion, I think that the New York Time’s Project was a fun experience. Our learning community block is very close so I think that any type of group would have worked out well, and nobody would have had any trouble working with anyone.
My group’s topic was on the environment, and was very easy to find articles on the environment and link them to Baruch (the bear cat article). Our message was easy to get across and it was something that everyone should be aware of.
The work was divided among all of the group and there were no complaints about anyone doing or not doing the work properly. Overall it was a good experience and I wouldn’t mind doing it again

This is a mix that I made recently. I made it for fun and to share the music that I love while trying my hand at DJing. There are about 10 tracks used in this 30 minute mix and they are all Electric Dance Music tracks. This is my favorite genre of music and I listen to it every day and can’t get tired of it. The phrase “banger” in music terms means something that is so wild that it gets listeners pumped up and excited more than any other tracks. I hope you like it!
